Green Allies is teaming up with West Pottsgrove Township to hold a free household electronics, appliances, and metal recycling day
It will be held on Saturday March 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind the Target store in the Upland Square shopping center. The collection area is only accessible off Upland Square Drive.
You may want to be sure to give yourself lots of time as last year's event attracted more than 500 vehicles-worth of recyclables.
Ken Hamilton, executive director of Green Allies, said last year that best estimates indicate more than 1,000 TV's and computers were recycled, along with more than 8,000 pounds of appliance and metal and more than 200 air conditioners.
Here is a list of electronics that will be accepted for recycling at no charge:
